Oxidative stress a real enemy

If not controlled in time, oxidative stress can cause lethal damage to our bodies.

Cristina Tesare

Our body is composed of a structured mass filled with oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur, sodium, chlorine, and magnesium. These Compounds are necessary for life. Which are much more than a physical structure and a series of organs that guarantee their correct handling.

Taking into the record, the fact that we oxidize is something inevitable. We must control the excess of harmful elements that produce or accelerate the damages of oxidative stress. In other words, take care of the excessive use of free radicals, hydrogen peroxide, tobacco, air pollution, radiation, among other external factors.

When the presence of these factors is higher, our body begins to present harmful damages; such as the rupture of membranes; the death of cells;  and the appearance of diseases due to the disappearance of antioxidants.

The human body has mechanisms in charge of controlling this “unfortunate” procedure; consequently, it is necessary to have an adequate diet and a healthy lifestyle. If we look at it from a critical perspective, oxidative stress produces a deterioration of the tissues and therefore favors the appearance of cardiovascular diseases and even cancer.

20% of the air inhaled in respiration is oxygen, essential for the proper functioning of all the body cells. A portion of this is transformed in the cell itself as a reagent. Which has oxidative activity (free radicals) that are essential for the balance of the body.

Our cells increase their inside oxidative activity when these free radicals are not eliminated by antioxidants. Causing a structural and functional change that accelerates those aging and favors apoptosis (cell death).
A diet rich in antioxidants can help to minimize Oxidative stress. Consuming foods such as fruits, vegetables, legumes, and cereals will gradually increase the level of vitamin C and E. Generating antioxidants for the body. You can also opt for dark chocolate, tea or coffee, nuts, beans, among others.

How can I protect myself from this condition?

The main thing is to be aware that this condition exists. We can control it; having a proper diet and taking supplements that provide us the necessary nutrients will help reduce oxidative stress.

In Human Vitae, you get Collagen Gummies and Probiotic Gummies, as well as a green-based drink such as Super Greens that will provide you with benefits for your health. It is essential to walk playing sports, exercising your brain, meditating, and more to quell oxidation and oxidative stress.
